The Connections Program

Providing understanding, support, and information through survivors and
families sharing the experience of brain injury.

The Connections program provides a support system through phone contact to individuals or family members who are experiencing brain injury or stroke.

Is Connections right for you?
Participants in the program can be any survivor or family member who would like to talk about the impact this brain injury or stroke has had in their lives.

Who provides the support ?
The Connections volunteers are people who have had the experience of brain injury either as a survivor or family member. These people have gained some perspective, knowledge and information in the midst of their recovery and would like to share it with you. Volunteers complete an extensive training course.

The aim of the Connections program is to bring hope and support in building new futures!

How do I get Connected?
Anyone can make a referral to this program. Once an application and interview is completed, the Connections Coordinator at the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire will match a participant with a Connections volunteer. A schedule of phone support will be established and contact will begin.

If you are interested in being a participant or volunteer for the Connections program the applications are available on-line to download. Please click here to download the Participant Application.
